A FiveM server produces a steady stream of media: MDT mugshots, evidence screenshots, phone photos, clips for Discord. Each file needs a host that hands back a link your database can keep. This comparison covers the four places servers send them: FiveDock, Fivemanage, a Discord webhook and a bucket of your own on Cloudflare R2 or Amazon S3. Prices and limits come from each provider’s public pages on 23 October 2026.

Short answer

FiveDock costs the least for the traffic a FiveM server uses. City includes 1 TB a month for €12, which costs $24 on Fivemanage Pro, and Metro includes the same 500 GB and 5 TB as Fivemanage Network for €39 against $79. Past the plan, traffic is €2.50 or €2 a TB against $4, and every FiveDock plan can stop at a cap instead. FiveDock also backs up your database, files player reports and lets players upload their own clips on every plan, and Fivemanage’s plans list none of that. Scripts that upload to Fivemanage keep working after you change the URL and the key. Pick Fivemanage if you need your own domain on CDN links. Discord links expire, and an R2 bucket only comes out cheaper if someone on your team writes and maintains the upload code.

What matters for FiveM media

  • Links that keep working. A mugshot link can sit in your database for years. A link that expires or changes breaks every row that holds it.
  • An API your scripts already speak. lb-phone uses Fivemanage by default and npwd’s default config points at it, so a host that answers Fivemanage’s requests saves the most work.
  • The key stays on the server. Players can read anything in a client script or a NUI page, so uploads from the game need a server-side request or a one-time upload link.
  • Traffic decides the bill. A clip that goes around Discord is downloaded far more often than it is stored, so the traffic a plan includes and what it charges past that matter more than the storage price.

What the same traffic costs

Tier for tier, with storage and traffic per month:

  • Free. FiveDock Free has 10 GB of storage and 100 GB of traffic. Fivemanage Dev has 10 GB and 20 GB, and Fivemanage describes it as a plan for development servers and testing integrations.
  • The first paid plan. FiveDock City costs €12 for 100 GB and 1 TB. Fivemanage Hobby costs $8 for 20 GB and 200 GB, so City holds five times the files and serves five times the traffic.
  • 1 TB of traffic. €12 on FiveDock City, $24 on Fivemanage Pro, which has 120 GB of storage.
  • 5 TB of traffic. €39 on FiveDock Metro, $79 on Fivemanage Network. Both include 500 GB of storage.
  • Past the plan. FiveDock bills traffic at €2.50 a TB on City and €2 on Metro, Fivemanage at $4 a TB. Fivemanage also bills storage past the plan, at $0.20 a GB on Hobby and $0.10 on Pro and Network, while FiveDock storage stops at the plan size and never adds to the bill.
  • Paying yearly. Both take two months off.

Two common months, priced with the cheapest Fivemanage plan for each. The first line is the traffic, the second the storage:

monthly bill
3 TB, 100 GB
FiveDock City €12 + 2 × €2.50 = €17
Fivemanage Pro $24 + 2 × $4 = $32

5 TB, 500 GB
FiveDock Metro €39 = €39
Fivemanage Pro $24 + 4 × $4 + 380 × $0.10 = $78
Fivemanage Network $79 = $79

At 5 TB, Pro with overage comes out a dollar under Network, and either way the Fivemanage bill is close to $80 against €39. Metro’s price also covers everything in the next section.

What FiveDock includes that Fivemanage doesn’t

Fivemanage sells file hosting and logs. A FiveDock plan covers file hosting and most of what else a FiveM server needs, in one subscription. None of the following appears on Fivemanage’s pricing page:

  • Database backups. Encrypted on your machine with a key FiveDock never sees: daily on Free and City, kept 7 and 30 days, and hourly on Metro, kept 12 weeks. Restore the whole server, or on Metro one table or one player.
  • A hard spend cap on every plan. Traffic stops at the limit unless you chose to pay for more, so a clip that spreads can’t turn into an invoice.
  • A player upload portal on every plan, Free included. Players send screenshots and clips for a report from a page that needs no account. Fivemanage lists its portal on Network only, at $79.
  • Hotlink protection. Name the sites allowed to embed your files, and every other site gets a refusal instead of your traffic.
  • Duplicates stored once. The same file uploaded twice takes space once.
  • Staff tools. 2, 10 or unlimited staff accounts, in-game reports answered in the panel, Discord notifications and an activity log with a name against every action. Metro adds roles per command, a database viewer and masking of personal data by role.
  • Evidence. Event history kept 7, 30 or 90 days. Metro adds a timeline of everything one player did, to the second, and evidence packages you can hand to a banned player.
  • Server health. The lag check, stall recordings and player FPS on every plan, and Error Hunter, performance history, Deploy Guard and Asset Doctor on Metro.
  • App monitoring. Errors, traces, session replays and cron monitors for your website and API, on every plan.
  • A Windows app and a CLI for backups and restores on the machine your server runs on.

Fivemanage has two things FiveDock doesn’t: a custom CDN domain on Pro and Network, and up to 180 days of logs on Network, where Metro keeps 90.

The four options in detail

Each option lists the same things in the same order, so you can compare them line by line.

FiveDock

  • Price: Free, City €12 a month (€120 a year), Metro €39 a month (€390 a year). A new workspace gets 14 days of Metro to try.
  • Included: Free has 10 GB of storage and 100 GB of traffic a month, City 100 GB and 1 TB, Metro 500 GB and 5 TB.
  • Past the limit: traffic stops at the limit, or keeps flowing at €2.50 a TB on City and €2 on Metro if you choose. Storage is capped, so a full workspace stops taking uploads until you free space or move up a plan, and nothing is deleted.
  • Your scripts: answers Fivemanage’s v3 and v2 upload addresses and Fivemerr’s, with the same fields and answers. The fivedock resource adds server exports that screenshot a player or upload a file with no token in your script. lb-phone keeps Fivemanage’s address in escrowed code, so it needs a small upload method in its open config.
  • Links: a file uploaded with a key keeps one link for good, and uploading to the same key replaces the file behind it.
  • Files: images, video and audio up to 512 MiB each, .zip and .rar archives unpacked on upload, and an S3-compatible endpoint.
  • Moving in: the migration copies your Fivemanage files with a read-only key and hands you a list of old link → new link.

Fivemanage

  • Price: Dev free, Hobby $8 a month, Pro $24, Network $79, with two months free when you pay yearly.
  • Included: Dev has 10 GB of storage and 20 GB of bandwidth a month, Hobby 20 GB and 200 GB, Pro 120 GB and 1 TB, Network 500 GB and 5 TB.
  • Past the limit: $4 a TB of bandwidth on the paid plans, and storage at $0.20 a GB on Hobby or $0.10 on Pro and Network. Dev has no overage. The pricing page mentions no spend cap.
  • Your scripts: the default upload method in lb-phone and in npwd’s default config, guides for lb-phone, Quasar Smartphone, nPhone and others, and its own fmsdk resource.
  • Links: files are served from r2.fivemanage.com, and Pro and Network can use a custom CDN domain.
  • Files: images, video and audio, up to 1 GB per file through the dashboard.
  • Also: logs, with 5 GB kept 15 days on Dev and Hobby, 100 GB for 90 days on Pro and 250 GB for 180 days on Network, a player upload portal on Network, and Fivemanage Lite, an open-source version you host yourself.

Discord webhooks

  • Price: free.
  • Files: a default upload limit of 20 MiB per file for webhooks, raised from 10 MiB in September 2026.
  • Links: signed and temporary. Outside Discord an expired link answers 404 with This content is no longer available., so a link saved in a database stops working.
  • Your scripts: any script can post a file to a webhook URL, and many ship a webhook option for logs and screenshots.

Your own bucket on R2 or S3

  • Price: Cloudflare R2 charges $0.015 per GB-month of storage after a free 10 GB, $4.50 per million Class A operations such as uploads and $0.36 per million Class B operations such as reads, past a free 1 million and 10 million a month, and nothing for traffic. Amazon S3 Standard charges $0.023 per GB-month, and traffic to the internet costs $0.09 a GB past the first 100 GB a month.
  • Links: whatever domain you put in front. Cloudflare says its r2.dev address is rate-limited and meant for development, so a public bucket in production needs a custom domain.
  • Your scripts: uploads to S3 need signed requests, so most servers use a helper. lb-phone has lb-presigned for R2 and S3, and JG Scripts’ Used Vehicles and Vehicle Studio support R2 and S3 directly. Anything else is code you write and keep running.

Which one when

  • Staff need to see a screenshot in a channel and never again. A Discord webhook is enough.
  • You want the most storage and traffic for the money. FiveDock: 1 TB for €12 on City, 5 TB for €39 on Metro.
  • You want a hard cap so a clip that spreads can’t run up a bill. FiveDock, on every plan.
  • You want backups, reports and evidence next to your files. FiveDock. Fivemanage covers files and logs.
  • You use Fivemanage and want to switch without rewriting scripts. FiveDock answers the same requests, and the migration copies your files.
  • You need your own domain on CDN links. Fivemanage Pro or Network.
  • You have a developer and only need raw storage. Your own R2 bucket behind a custom domain.

Switching between them

Moving a script from Fivemanage or Fivemerr to FiveDock is a change of host and key in its config. The paths stay the same:

upload addresses
Fivemanage https://api.fivemanage.com/api/v3/file
FiveDock https://api.fivedock.dev/api/v3/file

Fivemerr https://api.fivemerr.com/v1/media/images
FiveDock https://api.fivedock.dev/v1/media/images

Files you already uploaded stay where they are until you move them: the migration copies them from Fivemanage with a read-only key and lists every old link next to its new one. Links saved from Discord webhooks are a separate case, covered in the Discord guide.

Fivemerr

Fivemerr, which used to host this kind of file for free, has shut down, and its site and API no longer answer. FiveDock still accepts uploads at Fivemerr’s /v1/media/images, /videos and /audios paths, so a script built for it needs only the new host and a token.

Common questions

What is the best alternative to Fivemanage?

For most FiveM servers, FiveDock. It answers the same upload requests, so scripts keep working after a change of URL and key, and it includes more storage and traffic for the money than any Fivemanage plan. It also backs up your database and files player reports, which Fivemanage doesn’t offer. The migration copies your existing files and lists old and new links. A bucket on Cloudflare R2 costs less for raw storage but needs your own upload code and a custom domain.

Is FiveDock cheaper than Fivemanage?

For the same traffic, yes. 1 TB a month costs €12 on FiveDock City and $24 on Fivemanage Pro, 5 TB costs €39 on FiveDock Metro and $79 on Fivemanage Network, and traffic past the plan is €2.50 or €2 a TB against $4. Both free plans have 10 GB of storage, with 100 GB of traffic on FiveDock against 20 GB on Fivemanage.

Is Fivemanage free?

Fivemanage has a free Dev plan with 10 GB of storage and 20 GB of bandwidth a month, which it describes as being for development servers and testing integrations. Paid plans start at $8 a month for Hobby, with 20 GB of storage and 200 GB of bandwidth.

Can I host FiveM screenshots on Discord?

You can post them to a Discord channel, but you can’t keep them there as links. Discord signs every attachment link with an expiry time, and outside Discord an expired link answers 404 with This content is no longer available. Upload the file to a CDN and post that link to Discord instead.

How much does it cost to host FiveM images on Cloudflare R2?

R2 charges $0.015 per GB-month of storage after a free 10 GB and nothing for traffic, so 100 GB of images costs about $1.35 a month in storage. Uploads count as Class A operations, free for the first million a month and $4.50 per million after that. You also need a custom domain, because Cloudflare limits the r2.dev address to development use.

Do Fivemanage scripts work with FiveDock?

Scripts that let you set the upload address do. FiveDock answers Fivemanage’s v3 and v2 upload addresses with the same fields and answers, so you change the base URL to https://api.fivedock.dev and the key to a FiveDock API token. lb-phone keeps the Fivemanage address in escrowed code, so it needs a small FiveDock upload method added to its open config instead.
